100 Days of Texture
The idea of this project was to stimulate my creative thinking through small daily acts for 100 days. As a graphic designer, I tend to veer towards very rigid grids and systems. So, I challenged myself to create a new texture made only out of charcoal throughout the entire duration of this project. Working with such a pliable material allowed me to push my mark beyond the restrictions of working with typography. It also allowed me to think about form and composition in a more organic and less rigid way.
